The Driver Era

Sweaty and intense would be two words to describe The Driver Era’s concert, and I’m not just talking about the band’s stage presence. With lead singer Ross Lynch’s past work and their family band R5 having been with Disney/Disney Channel there are fans of all ages in the crowd.

The lyrics to their songs may no longer be Disney friendly but the band still acknowledges their roots as Ross asked the crowd how many fans have been with them since their early days. These are fans who have watched the band grow since 2009 and to now be seeing them in 2022 creates a feeling of pleasure or satisfaction. 

I left this concert wanting more, beaming about how much fun I had and quickly trying to search for the next closest show. There is a rush of excitement and awe as Ross and Rocky walk onto the stage, there’s no denying the two brothers are masters of stage presence, even in the smaller venues they are able to back the house and provide high energy the entire night.
